Being a little nostalgic

A friend once told me, "Forget about the past, embrace the present and look forward into the future". But i will say, If there is no past, there will be no present. As i believe what i am now is not because of myself, but because of the people i met along the way and the things that i have been able to learn from them. I have been thru 3 phase of education, Primary, secondary and Poly, i will say Poly is the time i realise far more of myself than i have imagine, been given chances and having been given help by people. I will like to say Thank you to them for the time and effort.

"Remember the past, embrace the present and look into the future".

Quo-Fectionary 4

Read a news paper article about service in a restaurant. It goes something like, a restaurant of the same name but of different team of people can be so different in services. Eg, Restaurant A have a team of people whose leader is not as spontaneous, for that we surely know what is the consequences that will followed. Yes, the people under him will be around the same then. But in Restaurant B, the leader overlook everything and ensure that he give the best services when a customer is being neglected then, the worker under will learn from him and the his working style. Its amazing how a equally expensive restaurant can have such a big difference with the impact of a good suprvisor/manager.

"What we do reflect a lot about ourselves to others, it is what others will learn by the exemplary display of character"

There are times when one think that they are so great in a certain place. They think they are everything. But they never realise how small they actually are as they have yet to see the best of the bests. Only when they realise that later, only then they realise they have been too full of themselves.

Quo-Fectionary 3

Been awhile since i've update so here goes,

It has come to past that i realised that there are things in life one can fight so hard for and in the end, it is not that one effort you make that is going to make any difference. It is what everyone as one want to which will make that change.

We ourselves at times think that we can do something and make a difference out of everything. But then, many a times we realise that the things we are trying to achieve are the possibilities of the impossible. We being the stubborn one always listen to none till we found ourselves coming to the deadend of things and then we realise that this is not our route to take.

"There are times that one fought so hard for something and then realise that the fight is not theirs to begin with"

I was on a taxi trip the other day and i can tell you, sometimes its worth paying taxi fares and then listen to priceless life experience of the uncles. Been thru a lot of trip on differnet taxi and i must agree i have learn a lot from all this people. Having said that, this uncle was telling me that,
"kids these days really getting out of hands, you try to teach them and they won't listen to you at all. I wonder what i can do to make them listen to me. I've tried so hard and yet. Maybe i should let him go out and have a taste of the real world and let the law handle him"

His point here is telling us that the elders at home have been thru more than any of us around. They have seen more than us and the things they said is never wrong or maybe sometimes. They see the way you grow up and they know you very well or should i say to some fairly well enough to pass a judgement on you and the things you do. Before i got off the taxi he said,

"Listen to your parents, they are your best advisors"

Well have more but i'm just a little tired to think. Take care people.
